The Sensei 310 is a high quality ambidextrous mouse with excellent performance and a proven shape that has been a favorite for many players ever since the original Xai was released. Its sensor, the TrueMove3, is based on the best sensor currently available, offering unparalleled tracking speed and accuracy. The mouse doesn't only look like quality, it also feels like it. There's a nice haptic feeling to the finish of the surface and side grips.
The main buttons have a nice click that is light and crisp and uses high-quality Omron 50M switches. All other switches are full-sized Khail and offer good clicky feedback as well. Even in terms of button latency, the Sensei 310 is very close to the gold standard set by Logitech, with a response time that is a mere 0.9 ms slower, which is absolutely negligible.
The software is very intuitive to use, and everything is right there on one easy screen over which to set everything up, instead of using five different menus like some. It allows for the saving of all settings directly on the mouse and even includes profile switching if you want a way of easily managing different setups.
The mouse weighs 96 g, which is alright; it could be lighter for my taste, but then again, it always can be, and for the size of the mouse, the weight doesn't feel like a hindrance at all.
Considering the high quality of the mouse itself, the very good components used, and its overall presentation, I consider $60 a really fair price. The Sensei 310 is a mouse I can enjoy using all day long.
