Optional Accessories

Streacom was kind enough to send along a few of their optional accessories, which all come in similar brown boxes with a black sticker as a seal.

DA2 Glass Side Panel Kit

The DA2 sports two solid, but perforated aluminium side panels, but Streacom also offers a tempered glass kit. It consists of two magnetically attachable panels with two different levels of tint so that you may still show off your internal components on one side, but hide all the boring things on the other. A small instructions manual and a cleaning cloth round out the accessories of this package.

Front I/O Module USB Type-A

While the glass panels are mostly for visual purposes, Streacom offers some functional extras, like an updated USB 3.0 panel and power button I/O contraption. This could be useful for those who don't need the USB-C plug that comes with the Streacom DA2 by default.

USB Type-C 3.1 Gen2

If you do like that standard I/O, but want to utilize a real USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C motherboard header, Streacom also offers a replacement cable you may install.

DA2 Performance Acrylic Panel Kit

The last optional accessory that was provided along with the DA2 is a kit which allows you to install two 120 or 140 mm fans to the top and bottom of the chassis. It consists of the same materials you will find in the case, but offers a bit more airflow and the necessary mounting holes for the cooling units. Eight silicone pins are included, so you may mount things without tools. That said, I am surprised Streacom didn't simply equip the DA2 with these out of the box.
