Thermaltake Luxa2 LM100 Mini Review

Packaging

We received the LM100 Mini in a brown cardboard box. At first I thought this was the actual packaging, but it seems like Thermaltake is taking the extra step to protect the retail box as well. The actual package has a white backdrop and has a full frontal image of the case. You will find some additional information on the sides of the box as well. Thermaltake has included a handle so that you may carry the chassis home from the shop or post office.

The Luxa2 LM100 Mini is surrounded by plenty of foam spacers. With this much protection the package could probally fall out of a rolling truck and the chassis would remain unharmed - in other words: it is excellent.

Contents

As with most high quality HTPC enclosures, you get a great bundle of extras with the LM100 Mini as well. Thermaltake includes a SATA adapter for a slim line optical drive, the power cord, an Soundgraph iMON remote along with the needed batteries, a bag filled with bags full of screws and a CD which contains the iMedian software. You also receive a manual and a hex tool to open the chassis. Within the big bag of screws are several extremely high quality bags with an assorted set of parts. You should not need any more than these.
