Introduction

VAXEE Logo

Established in 2019 by the original founding team of Zowie, VAXEE is a peripherals company and shop platform. The NP-01S Wireless closely follows the template previously established by the XE Wireless: In order to achieve the overall design goal of matching the performance of a wired mouse, PixArt's PAW3395 sensor is paired with an MCU likewise from PixArt. In addition, the NP-01S Wireless allows switching from the standard to the so-called competitive mode, which promises to deliver even better performance, albeit at the cost of a virtually halved battery life, from 100 to 55 hours. The NP-01S Wireless weighs 68 g, much like the wired NP-01S. The shape is unchanged as well, and Huano switches are still used for the main buttons, along with a mechanical encoder from ALPS for the scroll wheel. The feet are made of pure PTFE, and their shape is unchanged, allowing one to re-use skates designed for the NP-01S. As always with VAXEE mice, configuration is done entirely on the mouse through various buttons and button combinations. The NP-01S Wireless is exclusively available through the VAXEE shop in black, white, pink, yellow, orange, or blue.
