Value and Conclusion

The Verbatim Store'n'Go 1TB USB 3.0 can be had from a mere 79 € (including HDD) depending on color. Interestingly enough the Toshiba harddisk itself would set you back 79 € on its own.

2 years warranty - the bare drive does not carry a specific warranty in the EU, only US customers receive 3 years from Toshiba.

Black version with piano finish and thus not as scatch resistant as other color options.
No frills drive
Black is the most affordable, all other colors cost more

Well there is not much to say about the Verbatim Store'n'Go 1TB USB 3.0 drive. It features one interface, no extra frills along with a slew of colors to choose from. In terms of price/performance it offers everything you could want from a drive of this size. Considering the fact that the Toshiba MK1059GSM drive alone would set you back the same amount of money as the full Verbatim Store'n'Go drive, you would be crazy to build your own external hard drive, as you would only end up paying more. That said, considering the excellent price, very good performance, simple but effective feature set and cool looks, there Store'n'Go external hard drive line-up continues to impress.
