Introduction

Xtrfy Logo

Established in 2011, Xtrfy is a peripherals company based in Sweden. The M4 Wireless goes beyond merely making the M4 wireless. For one, and much like on the M42, an additional back cover is included, which can be used to adjust the hump curvature further to one's liking. In addition to that, Xtrfy provides the STP files needed for the back cover, so if desired, one could easily print a suitable part. Furthermore, the battery can be moved on the M4 Wireless, allowing one to adjust the weight balance to one's preference. Despite these additions, at 70 g, the M4 Wireless even weighs less than the original wired M4. In terms of internals, PixArt's PAW3370 sensor capable of 19,000 CPI is used, along with Kailh GM 8.0 (80 M) switches for the main buttons. The feet are made of pure PTFE, and the charging cable is of the particularly flexible paracord-like variant. Rich RGB lighting is also on board, and can be further customized by making use of the extensive on-device configuration options. Default color options include black and white, with different top-shell variants being possible as a custom order.
