Due to the coating on the heatsink, the Zalman CNPS10X Performa Black has a deeper black than most of the components around it. Only the fan adds any semblance of contrast via the white logo. So while relatively plain in appearance for those wanting a stealthy, no ARGB build, the Zalman cooler certainly fits the bill.


When it comes to memory and graphics card clearance, there really isn't much to report. Memory cleared the fan just fine, and the graphics card is nowhere near touching the fan clips, so no worries there, either. Overall, it offers perfect clearance on our AMD and Intel test benches, with only the mounting hardware proving problematic in certain situations and hardware configurations.
