As simple as the shape of the Z2 may seem, finding suitable comparisons isn't easy. In a sense, one could say that the Z2 is a right-handed ergonomic variant of the Logitech G Pro X Superlight, in that neither the front nor back flare out much, the width stays almost the same across the entire length of the mouse, and even the way the main and side buttons are stylized is reminiscent of the Pro X Superlight. The hump is centered, too, and since the left side isn't raised as much, both mice have a similarly neutral silhouette. Conceptually, the ROCCAT Kain and SteelSeries Prime share some similarities with the Z2, though the former may be considered a more extreme version of the Z2, whereas the latter diverges when it comes to the front in particular. Even though the Z2 could be considered a non-aggressive and agreeable shape, it lends itself better to larger hands due to its above average width, despite being more medium-sized overall.
As for grip styles, I'd say the Z2 is equally suited for palm and claw grip. It is a medium-sized mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, yet rather wide, which makes it more suitable for larger hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Z2 perfectly comfortable in claw grip.
