Detroit: Become Human creates a niche between gaming and interactive novels, albeit with AAA eye candy. In a not so distant future, a Detroit-based super corporation has perfected true-to-life androids. These androids have quickly replaced all blue collar labor in society and are now breaking into white collar professions, such as law enforcement. The game is split into several episodes where you play as android protagonists, making choices and completing tasks that include everything from crime-solving to household chores. As with most android-based sci-fi, our protagonists develop sentience (deviance), and things get interesting from there on out. The storytelling and social commentary stand out.

Based on an in-house engine by Quantic Dream, Detroit: Become Human takes advantage of the Vulkan API and delivers outstanding graphics. The world is richly detailed with high-poly objects and crisp textures.
