The Crucial P510 is a solid-state drive in the M.2 2280 form factor, launched on January 8th, 2025. It is available in capacities ranging from 2 TB to 2 TB. This page reports specifications for the 2 TB variant. With the rest of the system, the Crucial P510 interfaces using a PCI-Express 5.0 x4 connection. The SSD controller is the PS5031-E31T from Phison, a DRAM cache is not available. Crucial has installed 276-layer TLC NAND flash on the P510, the flash chips are made by Micron. To improve write speeds, a pseudo-SLC cache is used, so bursts of incoming writes are handled more quickly. Thanks to support for the fast PCI-Express 5.0 interface, performance is excellent. The P510 is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 11,000 MB/s and 9,500 MB/s write. The SSD's price at launch is unknown. The warranty length is set to five years, which is an excellent warranty period. The TBW rating for the Crucial P510 2 TB is unknown, too.
