Corsair Launches 650 Watt Professional Series Modular Power Supply

The HX650W joins the multi award-winning HX750W, HX850W and HX1000W as part of Corsair's Professional Series of PSUs, all of which feature a comprehensive low-profile modular cable set, minimal noise levels, ultra-high efficiency, and the highest component quality and performance on the market.

The efficiency of the HX650 is Ok , but not like the HX750 or HX850.
Couldn't they have released this earlier.

I love my 750W but I would have preferred a 650.
I thought the HX750 and HX850 were either Silver or Gold rated for their efficiency. I believe I read that on this site somewhere.
and i will even say better than the old seasonic designs they where using.

As far as only 2 PCIe, all they had to do was make a revision. Would've been an extra couple of holes in the casing, and a different pcb for the modular connectors.
Considering the change would've been that simple, I have to stick by my guns, and say that they are moving away from Seasonic as an OEM.
