SPARKLE Computer Co., Ltd., the professional VGA card manufacturer and supplier, today unveils the SPARKLE GeForce 210/GT220/GT240 Low Profile Silent Series Graphics Cards with low profile design, addressing, fulfilling and exceeding the HTPC users' demand on silent working, power consumption and HD video in small HTPC cases.
The SPARKLE GeForce 210/GT220/GT240 Silent Series Graphics Cards are a half-height video cards suitable for small form-factor, book size and home theatre PCs users that desperately want a dedicated HDMI jack on the cheap. The SPARKLE GeForce 210/GT220/GT240 Silent Series Graphics Cards can be easily installed in narrow space HTPC chassis. So the SPARKLE GeForce 210/GT220/GT240 Silent Series Graphics Cards not only can easily meet the HD video playback and DX10.1 gaming demand from HTPC users, but also can easily satisfy the requirements from SSF, mini-chassis and industry PCs which demand compact and practical graphics cards.Today's game, such as Crysis, Alone in the Dark 5, Stalker: clear sky, they normally use a large number of bump texture, transparent texture to describe faces of characters and render realistic gaming scenes, so these games put higher demands on the capacities of video memory. The current situation demands at least 512MB video memory to run these games. The SPARKLE GeForce 210/GT220/GT240 Silent Series Graphics Cards come with incredible large 1GB DDR3 / 512MB DDR2 high speed video memory can let users to pass the 3DMark Vantage High Test which strictly demand at least 512MB video memory, providing much more detail information to mainstream users for better understanding its graphics capability.
The SPARKLE GeForce GT220/GT240 Silent Series Graphics Cards are equipped with SPARKLE innovative back-cooling technology with 2 copper heat pipes at the front side and copper heat sink at the back side of the PCB, with fanless design to deliver high-performance cooling at 0dB. This exquisite designed cooling system lets the SPARKLE GeForce GT220/GT240 Silent Series Graphics to occupy only one PCIe slot, easily to be put into the small case of Slim type chassis. The SPARKLE GeForce 210 Silent Graphics Card comes with a Aluminum heat sink whose shape is designed into S-type, so it can effectively increase the cooling area, while avoiding the insufficient cooling of traditional heat sink.
The capacitors are key factor of power supply on the system and it has great impact on system stability. At present, solid capacitors and electrolytic capacitors both store electricity and discharge it when needed. According to factual test, any operation under high frequency and temperature, solid capacitors are able to supply more stable current than electrolytic capacitors and strengthen longer lifespan. Solid capacitors contain zero risk of leaking or exploding. The SPARKLE GeForce 210/GT220/GT240 Silent Series Graphics Cards use all solid capacitor as a true factor of products quality.
Experience the vivid DX10.1 gaming graphics at fluent frame rates, or go beyond traditional 3D graphics and experience GPU-accelerated NVIDIA PhysX gaming effects, Stereoscopic 3D, and lightning fast video and image processing. All you need is the SPARKLE GeForce 210/GT220/GT240 Silent Series Graphics Cards with full DirectX 10.1 and full Shader Model 4.1 support, delivering unparalleled levels of graphics realism and film-quality effects.
The SPARKLE GeForce 210/GT220/GT240 Silent Series Graphics Cards come with a full-scale HD output interface, which includes HDMI 1.3a, DVI and CRT interfaces. The CRT interface of the SPARKLE GeForce 210/GT220/GT240 Silent Series Graphics Cards is pluggable, with the small metal plate to be replaced, they can be easily installed in small HTPC cases.
Graphics cards are an essential element of today's PCs, enabling more visual and more interactive experiences. As a leading manufacturer in graphics cards market, SPARKLE worked closely with Microsoft on the development of Windows 7 to ensure that its graphics cards take full advantage of the great new features and functionality. If you use your PC to enhance photos, watch or edit videos, play games, or if you simply desire a fast and efficient graphical interface, the SPARKLE GeForce 210/GT220/GT240 Silent Series Graphics Cardswill surely delight your senses and offer a premium experience for Windows 7.

Seriously who needs another HTPC card. and Crysis will be playable at "normal" settings

Don't be thrown off by the "card is gaming trash" comments, whoever buys a card like this for gaming is too stupid to breathe without someone else to help and provide instruction.
Less power, less heat, lower cost.
For some reason, although ATI and nVidia support HDMI, they have yet to support this feature when most HDMI capable devices ( such as a stereo ) do.
For us HTPC users, this would be a great feature to have.
Having said that, I have a G210 in my HTPC and love it... Cheap, fanless, low form-factor and now on board HDMI audio make these cards very attractive.
Plays everything I throw at it minus games.

Less than $40 today will buy you a cooler, lower power 5450. So your point is moot.
As I said prior, its a great HTPC card and nothing else. @ $23.99 after rebate, this is an excellent HTPC card if, let me say it again, you are not intereted in games.
Unless it is something very modern (such as those Atom systems) integrated will have a hard time with bluray, 1080, and high res backdrops.
Just because it has no hardware acceleration for bluray, doesnt mean it cant pass it through when the CPU is done with it.
