EVGA Intros Backplate for GeForce GTX 570
EVGA released a swanky new backplate for reference-design NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 graphics cards, such as the ones it sells. The backplate fits onto the reverse side of the PCB, absorbing and radiating some of the card's heat. It also covers up components on the reverse side, making the card look better when installed. Available from EVGA's online store, this piece of brushed metal goes for US $19.99.

on another note, i wonder if it comes with thermal pads
well, I guess anyone who bought this were un-patience ones who couldn't spent an hour of their precious gaming time
edit:
wait.....
this is expensive because it has eVGA name stamped on
there is a thermal pad on the underside of the backplate directly over the gpu area same goes for the 480 backplate
I agree with Randomflip. They really need to make one for the GTX460s because those things look like the bomb diggity. I don't care if it's non-functional just as long as it looks good.
