the board seems kind of average to me too amongst other H/P67 offerings.

They did really well with the AMD Black Series and imo had the bang for the buck for upper mid level boards....
Ive never had a bad ECS experience I always hear about...every ECS board Ive owned generally did better than the Gigabyte and MSI boards that Ive had of the same class..
out of the 7 mobo's I had in 2010 ECS was second best But only because of price
