Asetek to Highlight Latest CPU and GPU Innovations at CeBIT 2011

Asetek Inc., the world's leading supplier of liquid cooling technology for computers, today announced it will demonstrate its latest innovations in CPU and graphics liquid cooling at CeBIT 2011, the world's largest IT trade show. The Asetek booth (Reseller Pavilion, Hall 14, Stand J46) will feature computers running active demos showcasing:
  • The new WaterChill 2011C, Asetek's best-ever, ultra-extreme liquid CPU cooler. Highlights include Asetek's low profile pump with third-generation coldplate technology and advanced liquid temperature fan control, coupled with a massive 240mm x 120mm radiator and four 120mm PWM fans. The 2011C also includes the company's newly-enhanced ChillControl performance monitoring, cooling control software.
  • Asetek's latest GPU cooler delivers superior overclocking capability (up to 25% on the NVIDIA GTX 580) while drastically reducing GPU temperatures and fan noise at load. The new graphics cooler features a 120mm radiator and liquid temperature controlled fan along with a pump and coldplate integrated into the GTX 580, and will be launched in conjunction with a graphics card partner.
Both of these Asetek sealed water cooling systems are easy to install, factory-filled, sealed and tested. Factory sealing eliminates end user maintenance commonly required with component-built liquid cooling systems. Pricing and availability of both products is expected to be announced in Q2 2011.

"The WaterChill 2011C and our latest GPU cooler build on Asetek's rich history of providing cooling systems that deliver superior overclocking capability to computer enthusiasts and the PC gaming community under its award winning VapoChill and WaterChill brands," said Steve Branton, Director of Marketing at Asetek. "Asetek will use the WaterChill brand to showcase its latest liquid cooling technologies and make ultra-extreme products like the WaterChill 2011C available directly to end-users via the Asetek web site. We are excited by the opportunities this will bring us to engage directly with the people who use our cutting edge products."

Asetek sales and marketing staff from EMEA and the Americas will be on-hand to give product demonstrations and answer visitor and media questions, and to take reservations for press review samples of these exciting new products.

Wouldn't mind the GPU cooler. I'll be interested to see what reviews find out.

I would be interested to see 140 radiator... many cases have 140mm opening either in the back or top...

cool idea but does it only work on a 580?

I'm very curious about the GPU cooler, from the picture i would assume it has the core under water and then the blower cooling the VRM's and RAM.

I really want to see it opened up and a review, mainly the temps as 120mm radiators on other asetek CPU coolers do ok with 125w+ but many GPU's are double that or more so i would have expected a 240mm rad would be more suitable, i guess only reviews will tell.

coolit has had a GPU cooler for a while its not any better than an air cooler this asetek looks odd tho still dual slot? wtf

The omni is an interesting idea but really not the best solution, as the cooling plate/water block, board specific plate then chip is not exactly a great way to transfer heat thus why i think its still only on the level of heat pipe cooling.

I would hope this is different as in having a water block more like the other Asetek products thus transfer the heat better but really not much can be said until someone takes it apart.

Crazy 4 TPU!!!
I would definitely like to have one of those on my 470.

If the reviews are good and the price is decent, i might get one.:)

but if its only cooling the GPU itself and not the VRM or memory. is it going to add much more overclocking room??

Ya im not sure how they have the the memory and VRM cooled, maybe they have the water block sitting across the entire GPU pulling heat from the GPU and the stock air cooler blowes air cross everything else?

Do you guys think you could mount the CPU coolers 240 radiator inside mounted at the top of a HAF 932 case?? Because i am very interested in the cooler, so that i can get this megahalem out so its not putting stress on the boards actually structure.
