NVIDIA GeForce 275.33 WHQL Software Suite Released
Amidst all the Computex fanfare, NVIDIA released its rather silent update to the GeForce software suite, with GeForce 275.33 WHQL. The driver includes all the updates of GeForce 275.27 BETA. A performance-drop issue found on The Witcher 2 played on 275.27 BETA, was fixed. Aside from that, a number of performance improvements are carried forward from 275.27 BETA, and released in the WHQL-signed 275.33. These are specific to GeForce GTX 580 and GTX 560, and provide performance improvements by as much as 15% in some cases.

How about some improvements for the mobile series?
I kinda see it as a marketing tactic. Show that people need to buy new to get the improvements. Similar to their linking Duke Nukem to the 560. Like it can only run good on that yet I run it max everything on my 460 just fine.
Also because new GPUs don't get the best launch drivers. They need time to mature.
