Evercool Coming Out with the White Knight Laptop Cooling Pad/Table

Taiwanese manufacturer Evercool has recently unveiled the White Knight, a new accessory that can be used as a laptop cooling pad or a laptop table, depending on the user's needs. The White Knight supports up to 17-inch notebooks and features a metal frame and metal feet that allow it to be expanded and set up as a table.

Evercool's 2-in-1 device weights 1.8 kg and comes equipped with a USB-powered 120 mm fan operating at 900 RPM (rotations per minute). No word yet on pricing.

It also doubles as a bed table for your breakfast in bed.

the first pic looks like a portable cooking stove you sometimes use for camping or midnight feasts indoors....

At least this lappy cooler isnt just a quick re-label and evercool spent at least 5mins or more thinking about the design

Disappointing.
No early 90's style amateur transformers video with a far out story line to promote it like the transfomer S CPU cooler.

Who cares what it looks like, as long as it prevents something like this.

I'm not too fond of it's looks but, if it does what it's supposed to, i don't see a problem.

even cheap chinese made laptop coolers like these:

that can be had for under $10 can do that. Chances are - this white knight here will cost a bit more

lol the white knight wont nearly be as cheap as the chinese knock off. we are talking huge difference here!

for instance.... my Zalman NC1000 costs around $55(USD) here in the UK and thats a good quality laptop cooler.

If the W.K is cut from even half the same cloth as the NC1000 its not gonna be cheaper by that much. especially when it has the added feature of being able to be used as a portable dinner table while youre on the couch in front of the TV even if its $30, the chinese one will still cost a lot lot less. you cant beat it on price - trust me, I spend almost my whole trip lurking around computer places when im back in Hong Kong and occasionally some U.K computer fairs when the entry fee is either free or cheap enough for me to have a gander inside.
