Elecom Also Unveils Bigger Bluetooth Keyboard for Tablets

Along with the TK-FBP029 pocket Bluetooth keyboard primarily for handheld devices, Elecom launched a slightly bigger wireless keyboard for the likes of tablets, allowing natural typing with tactile feedback that onscreen keyboards lack. Called the TK-FBM036, and available in black (TK-FBM036BK) and white (TK-FBM036WH), the keyboard measures 293.0 x 149.5 x 23.6 mm (WxDxH), weighing 33 g (without batteries). It requires two AAA-size batteries. Its key pitch is 18.5, and keystroke travel is about 2.5 mm. The keyboard package includes a collapsible stand that can be used to hold the tablet at a convenient angle. It uses Bluetooth 3.0 to communicate with the tablet, with a range of up to 10 m. Slated for May, the TK-FBM036 will be priced at 8,820 JPY (US $115).
