I like MacBooks and Apple products in general. I just don't like iOS.

I don't really dislike Apple, just the people who use them and claim they are superior without any knowledge of computers in the first place. Not exactly Apple's fault. If I could sell a product with inflated prices due to a mostly cultlike following I would. They do package / design their products well but marketing is their biggest forte.

You are all just jealous. NOBODY on this forum, except perhaps w1zzard, could develop a cult following. But you all wish you could. And play Leader. So your hatred for Apple, including the mandatory mantra "oh, i dont hate on apple i just hate on their prices or on barristas" is just evidence of Denial of your own Unfulfilment.

I would love an iPhone and an Apple Mac but they're just damn overpriced for what they do. ESPECIALLY the computers. You pay such a massive premium and it's inconvenient when some programs aren't even written for Mac etc. etc.

I get people might be all pissy when others attack their brand of choice, but I actually live only a few miles from Cupertino, CA so I have to hear all this useless crap from people that don't realize I can watch shows from my phone (Android) on my TV too and it's not a huge innovation from Apple. Nothing they did in the past decade or so is innovative unless you're talking about design. Their function is nothing new in the tech world.

Edit: just to clarify, I have a pure annoyance / hatred for most of the apple peeps. As for the company, good for them.

I'm a critic of Apple, but I don't totally hate them. I like their older products, the ones where Apple was forced to innovate or die on. Their new ones...I see nothing but common PCs in Apple wrapping.

It seems the MacBook has finally gone the way of the eMac.
