Portal 2 getting best story is a little surprising.
Not a "story-driven" game, which is why the Best Story award was surprising.
Just my 2 cents. :)
We need developers like Dice to avoid ending up like the music industry:
Pushing out crappy artist that all sound the same (not going to go into the quality or musicality of these artists). :toast:
It's not as bad as COD ofc, but it's still all about graphics and 90% of the players I know are saying the same.
On the other hand, you have to understand the devs and the publisher here, because it's not only a game but also a product. You simply can't sell a good fps game today where the players would need 6-7 years to hit the skill ceiling.
Kids nowadays can't take boiling lava, if you know what i mean;)
Console players hated BF3 because it takes skill and looked like shit on thier dated hardware. True story.
IMO, Skyrim is overall an outstanding game. It's just that if you break it into its component parts nothing really stands out as truly exceptional. Although Bethesda's attention to detail in the game's ecosystem is pretty amazing.
Like WTF how can you possibly say P2 was a better game when there is like 50k+ more people still playing and P2 has around 3k.
The rich only people votes or selected ?.
