NVIDIA Teases Upcoming Product

NVIDIA teased what could be an upcoming product on its Facebook page. The teaser picture shows a black surface with NVIDIA "eye" logo etched onto it, and a caption that reads "It's Coming". Speculation is rife, on what that could be. Our own guess is that that's a graphics card pictured with the top of its cooler facing upwards, and rear panel bracket facing forwards (one could see what look like the exhaust vents). Could this be the dual-GPU GeForce GTX 690, or something entirely different? We know for one that this most definitely has something to do with the GeForce brand (and not other brands such as Tegra, Tesla, Quadro, etc.,) since it was posted on the NVIDIA GeForce Facebook page.

called my college friend who works in nVidia, he wasnt ready to reveal anything he just told me that the entire line-up of 600 series video cards was tested almost 4 months back. ;)

A truth that they never had a high end GPU in this series and the 680 was it?


Thus making the 690 a dual 680 with lowered clocks, with an absurd price as usual?

Exactly, there is no need for GTX 690 yet, not when AMD is still quiet about HD 7990.

Hmm.. I've postulated some features. It looks like a case of some form. To my aging eyes I can see grill work, 2 hex (allen) screws and a curved front feature. Doesn't look like a card to me. Looks like a fancy box/case.

I pondered maybe a fancy toothbrush cleaner with the curvulinear feature being a place to store your dentures, but probably not, eh?

less of a clue then , before :), i dont think it is a graphics card though and to me the grills at the top look to be reflections into a screen ,but that makes it some odd shit either and anyways:)

ie the bit at the top thats a perforated and iregular shaped vent is actually being rweflected into a glass screen, if you look at where it would fit if it were a screen you can seen the shadows the edge is causing onto the screen

steambox Handheld is my fantasy wish with your hex head screws being wierd controllers ,, pls
