Raptorfire Cronus Adapter Gives Your Gaming Platform Controller Flexibility

Raptorfire Inc., a Miami, FL-based manufacturer of gaming device modification tools, will be present at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, CA from June 5th thru 7th. The booth will feature product demos as well as Q&A sessions with product developers.

Raptorfire will feature their new gaming controller modification chips for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The chips, which are installed into existing hand-held controls for both systems, improve and enhance controller functionality and game play for the user. Many of the features provided by these chips include rapid fire, "drop shot", fast reload, and other popular modifications that are central to most first-person shooting games.
Alongside the rapid fire modification chips, the company will be demonstrating a new modification device known as "Cronus". This revolutionary tool will allow gamers to do what has never been done: cross-system controller interchangeability. Do you prefer the feel of a Playstation 3 controller in your hand but regularly use the Xbox 360? Now you can have the best of both worlds by using the Playstation 3 controller on the Xbox 360 thanks to the innovative features of the "Cronus" device. Gamers can switch controllers between systems with ease using this ground-breaking product. The device is compatible with Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and the Wii.

Configuration of the "Cronus" can be done using any standard Windows-based PC. The device features nine customizable slots that can be loaded with configurations for any of your favorite games. Gamers can even download programmable mods to the device that will let you add functionality to the controller without the need to install a separate mod chip. This amazing product is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and opens up a whole new world of gaming.

other than that pic i see nothing that hints that it allows a keyboard/mouse to work with a console. i imagine that would be a larger selling point than a wii controller on an xbox/ps3 - so if it really allows you to use kb/m on console why does the video not tout that at all?
DanTheBanjomanSixaxis on PC without the annoying motioninjoy tool?
when was the last time you used it? it was a bit troublesome in the beginning but i use it regularly now and have no qualms. very happy with it - especially considering it's free which i highly doubt this device will be ;)

Motioninjoy sucks. You have to click "Enable" every time before you can start using it.

I don't understand one thing: Can this be used as wireless PS3 controller on XBOX360 and PC?

zomgwtfbbq that is the most horrendous system know to man. you need to click "enable"? call the BBB, this cannot stand.
joking aside, you need to enable it ONCE per sync. once it's synced and you leave the software on, you just turn on the controller. no clicking enable every play.
did you look at the process for this dongle? it will require re-syncing as well, tell me what exactly makes this so much better or easier than the FREE tool that already works?

i use motioninjoy at least every other day, sometimes for days in a row. i honestly don't get your's (and others') gripes about it - imo they are very nit-picky.

I used it last like 2-3 months ago. It didn't sync without problems every time, was quite troublesome.

Besides, it replaces the bt stack, making me unable to use dolphin or use the dongle otherwise when using the sixaxis.

ahh i didn't realize that - my dongle is specifically for the sixaxis so i would never have known this limitation. i can see how that's a big one.

I do have to say thought that the newest version works much better - however i am sure the bt stack issue will still exist for you so no go.

Cheating controller. I have to wonder if Microsoft will ban your XBOX if you use them at some point.
