Ozone Announces Blade Gaming Keyboard

Attending to the motto "It's all about evolution", Ozone Gaming Gear has walked another step in the keyboards world, another evolution compatible with PC Win98SE/Me/2000/XP/VISTA/WIN 7/8. The European brand of gaming peripherals will show the new Blade Keyboard in the upcoming COMPUTEX (Taipei 2013), and will be available in stores worldwide from March 2013.

Blade is the new addition to the Ozone's keyboard family, designed to enhance gaming experience and bring the game to the top. A stylized and aggressive design with back-lighted keys combined with hot gaming features turns Ozone's Blade in a complete gaming weapon sharp as a knife.
The 128 Kb on board memory together with the software included allow the user to fully customize the keyboard saving up to 50 different macros in 5 different profiles. And if you are tired of exiting the game accidentally by pressing the windows key, Blade's game mode option will allow gamers to disable the windows key when you are in the middle of the action.

On the fly profile switch
Gamers can easily get a stunning look in the dark with the Blade's back-lighted keys. Users are able to choose from the two available colors, red or blue, and adjust the light intensity to your needs on-the-fly. Blade's profile management allows users to save up to 5 different profiles and change them on-the-fly and it's possible to switch game or character-specific profile immediately.

The new Ozone Blade Keyboard can be easily customized, saving up to 50 macro keys using 5 different profiles. Hot keys, shortcuts or a whole key sequence can be quickly saved. Gamers can also take their preferred gaming profiles everywhere and use them on any system with Blade's on board memory.

So another crappy rubber dome keyboard that will wear out in 3 months time? Awesome ill buy one soon as its available / sarcasm.

Seriously I have yet to have a typical membrane keyboard last me more than 3 months before keys begin to wear out lettering wears off or buttons stick or have issues. Keyboard looks good but looks are only part of the equation without quality it just becomes pretty looking junk.

Eh, my Logitech G15 (orange one with LCD screen) has lasted me probably upwards of 4-5 years, and has only recently starting having slight problems with it's W key.

That said however, as mechanical gaming keyboards have gotten a lot more "mainstream" these days, I would never go buy another membrane one.

Like the idea above the up arrow and that's about it as for that wrist rest area under the keys if i am looking at it right would more than annoy the wrist.

This $70 piece of crap I got at Fry's has lasted me 4, and that's with 3 other people using it. I don't what you're showing off, but it's pitiful.

Mine is still working after 3 years, even after my son spilled syrup into it and I had to take it apart to clean it out. He plays on that keyboard every day in every imaginable MMO. I also still have a G15 still working fine. Had that one so long I don't remember when I bought it.

well as ive said i had a
Saitek Eclipse 2 dead after 3-4 months
Sidewinder X6 keys began to wear out after 3-4 months keyboard complete dead after 1 year
2x Thermaltake Challanger keyboards 6 months or so the first one died, got another it is on its way out as well with keys beginning to stick or not work.

Had many other keyboards as well die or not so much die but do to issues with keys that dont respond unless pressed many times etc become essentially a pain in the backside to use.

Now thats not to say i didnt like the above 3 keyboards just rubber dome types just dont last for me they never have.

what hilarious is the old PS/2 IBM mechanical i had it still works as good as the day it was made but the plug has had it after all this time that and it looks grungy lol.

I just chalk it up to the fact nothing is really made to last anymore its all disposable.

Do you smash keyboards when you lose a game? I don't seee how KBs can break so fast. My sidewinder X4 is about to hit the year mark without any noticeable wear except maybe it's dirty.

None of the keyboards I've ever owned ever really become completely broken. The worst I've ever had happened was some keys doesn't work without extra force after a few years but that's more likely dirt, drink spills and food crumbs accumulating underneath. I'm on my keyboard everyday for extended hours because of job, school and games. This is like people complaining about every car they owned including the Prius gets bad mileage. Maybe the problem is you.
