Cooler Master Releases V8 GTS CPU Cooler
Cooler Master, an industry leading chassis, thermal solution, peripheral, and accessory manufacturer today unleashes one of the most powerful Air CPU Coolers on the planet, the V8 GTS. It's powered by the very same Horizontal Vapor Chamber (HVC) Technology that keeps high-end graphics cards cool while containing the sheer raw force of a maelstrom within its huge, powerful fans.
Seemingly channeling the power of the muscle cars that inspired its design and the wind deities that grant them passage, V8 GTS is without equal. It dissipates large amounts of heat through its marriage of HVC and an optimized fin tower design. HVC consists of highly advanced metal heat spreaders that draw heat away from a single or multiple heat sources.The Vapor Chamber aspect is the hollow interior of the HVC structure that is filled with coolant that cycles between evaporation and precipitation to circulate within the container. As for mine, the secondary heat sink needs to be bigger (the one for the TEC). I am probably going to try a 150w on my current one and a better batch of fans.

Despite the fact that it looks like a spaceship, it probably won't beat my Phanteks PH-TC14PE
I'd be baffled if it did.
This would look great in a black case with red LED's and a massive sidepanel window. Mainly for looks, not so much for performance I think.
Looks like an engine has the name V8 and has two fans.

They don't generally make the best performing heatsinks, but the good thing about CM HSFs is that they are available everywhere.
but rma rates for fans are way low, those should last for quite a while... yeah pretty much, thats what i think too... its not meant to be the best performer anyways... its meant to look nice, fit in as many cases as possible without blocking VGAs and memory (thats why the 2 outer towers are smaller)
AND its meant to cool well at low noise levels, hence the dual 140mm fans and triple tower design...
its a good cooler, it looks nice, its not noisy... thats it... makes for a cool looking system if you got a side panel window... :)
