And given the current prices for 49" models, I would say that's a fair statement !Yea, but this unit includes a "custom heatsink", so doesn't that kinda count ?Just make sure that your credit card/bank account is boundless too, cause you're gonna need that for this journey into uber-wide awesomeness :D

I actually like IPS. I’d take IPS over VA any day of the week.
I don't get why they don't try to use IPS, Curved IPS monitors exist, albeit few.
