Tweakers.net got their hands on a confidential Roadmap by AMD showing the future of their processor lineup up to 2006.
According to the Roadmap, AMD will introduce Dual-Channel-DDR2 support in all segments from the low-cost Sempron to the mainstream Athlon64. A new socket called "M2" is also listed which will be used on the new processors called "Windsor", "Orleans" and "Manila".
Also new in the Mainstream Segment is the CPU virtualization technology "Pacifica", which is the counterpart to Intel's "Vanderpool" and the security technology "Presidio" (Intel's "LaGrande").
