ADATA UC360 Offers Type-C with USB 3.0 Backward Compatibility

ADATA UC360 is a unique new flash drive spotted at CES, which embraces the new USB Type-C connector for fast connectivity with newer generations of smartphones, tablets, and ultra-portables; and a standard Type-A connector on its other end, for backwards compatibility with older USB standards. The two connectors slide out from the drive's ends. Although featuring a Type-C connector, the drive only supports USB 3.0 and USB 2.0/1.1, and so its transfer rates are well under 5 Gb/s. It comes in capacities ranging between 16 GB and 64 GB.

Why not just USB B micro? We already got 4 connectors without C (A, B, B mini and B micro) so I suppose it is confusing enough for most consumers.
