It has a nice clean basic look to me. The link says that it's $175. I don't keep up with mechanical KBs. Is that a reasonable price considering it's Apple?

If Apple can get away with a $10,000+ gold-plated watch, then Das Keyboard should be able to get away with a $175 mechanical keyboard....

It's not Apple, it's Das Keyboards.

The pro has the printed keys, ultimate has blacked out (blank) keys. Maybe that's what you mean? I have the Pro, and it's fantastic, my favorite keyboard so far. I swapped the keys out for blank keys and love the look.

If I had a Mac, I'd buy this kb! :)

Yeah liked their mech boards and would get one but they don't do fully programmable ones which @ $175 they should be.

I can see your point there. I had some programmable features on my old board, but it died on me

The quality on these boards is superb, such quality construction and solid feel. The others I've had (CoolerMaster and Levetron) can't hold a candle to the Das KB boards.

I bought my Das Pro used from @sneekypeet and it's coming up on a year old, still perfect. The day I got my CM, it had an issue with the USB port connector, but since I got it from eBay I never bothered tried to return/rma. The Levetron, also peet, died on me. Eh, good riddance to it because it made me get the Das! :D

wow a decent font on the letters, some of the others coming out had absolutely awful teenager scifi tech fonts, making them hard to read in addition to being fugly

The very first Das Keyboard (I think that was its entire name) had no lettering.
