Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will Ship with DirectX 12 Support: AMD
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is poised to be among the first AAA game releases to take advantage of DirectX 12 out of the box, according to AMD. The game will get a few AMD-exclusive features, including TressFX 3.0 Hair (realistic hair and foliage rendering). The game will include a benchmark tool, letting enthusiasts and hardware reviewers integrate it into their benches. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be one of the big AAA game releases in 2016.

Yeh down with the future(dx12) bring back dx 6 you sods i want less features and performance not more wtfff.
Because it didn't break your feeling of presence ,i liked the story of the last one and most of the game but the level loading and character animation jarred me out of my emersion and that was because of the game engine .
Hopefully it would be better next game
"so many times I have seen that written incorrectly."
i mean i know there are diminishing returns by now, but it seems odd to see some people (not you) with very strong comments that are anti-graphics to the point of being ridiculous
even the original doom had atmosphere due to its graphics, while wolfenstein did not
now there is one thing more powerful hardware can do to change gameplay, increased density in dynamic objects or increased precision in physics technically 'wrote wrong' is the same meaning, but 'could care' is NOT the same meaning
i am all about the meaning, it shouldnt matter if it's ghetto slang
you can tell i dont write in complete sentences, it's more of a thought stream
I am also capable of complete sentences. One could break the rules if they know them. I do enjoy English as a language with all its quirks and history.
A very ungraphically intense game, Life is Strange is gripping and filled with atmosphere. And it's almost entirely due to the presentation of the story and events. Graphics and graphical effects, can enhance, but are not required for a game to be good.

As for the topic at hand, DXMD uses the Dawn Engine which is based on the Glacier 2 engine used in Hitman: Absolution. This is a HUGE shift from DXHR and also partially explains the long development time it is taking. I'm excited for this game simply because we're finally seeing it made with an engine that's a closer match to the gameplay. Listening to the commentary in DXHR, it's clear they wasted a lot of time trying to make the engine do things they absolutely wanted (like ragdoll explosions) just to make it work. A lot of content was cut because of it (like the Henshai tower was supposed to be broken into two large areas but the lower part was cut).
As for games:
They all have a lot of problems:
-settings and save game management, some games like AC3 report broken saves when you copy them and it would be nice if they would save save games and settings in the same location
-intro movies - I already paid for the game why the hell should I have to watch your ads also by default
-series often have games which were released at a different time so the graphics vary by each game, I hate that because if I want to play a story in multiple games I want similar graphics and not different, why can't they just make a real graphical remakes (none of that remastered crap) of older games like Oblivion, Morrowind
Windows XP|XPDM
Windows Vista|WDDM 1.0
Windows 7|WDDM 1.1
Windows 8|WDDM 1.2
Windows 8.1|WDDM 1.3
Windows 10|WDDM 2.0
8.1 to 10 was almost as big as a jump as XP to Vista.
All versions are backwards compatible through feature levels.
Also I want to bring up that it's nice to see no NVidia fans coming in to complain about AMD exclusive features. We've all see the outrage from people when developers incorporate "NVidia ShitWorks" (as some people call it) It's kind of telling, the insecurity of the super AMD fanboys.
