EK Brings EK-XLC Predator 360 to Life

EK Water Blocks, premium PC liquid cooling gear manufacturer from Slovenia, is proud to launch a premium liquid cooling solution - EK-XLC Predator 360, complete all-in-one (AIO) with Quick Disconnects. EK has taken top performing, market proven components from its existing Enthusiast product line and assembled them together into one compact pre-filled solution. Absolutely no compromises were made when designing the Predator. Enthusiasts and PC builders alike will truly get the best of what the market can offer in a compact, expandable, out-of-the-box liquid cooling solution.

EK-XLC Predator 360 is next-generation, premium grade pre-filled and pre-assembled all-in-one (AIO) CPU liquid cooling unit. It provides extreme cooling performance and exceptional build quality unseen in the AIO (all-in-one) segment so far. The unit utilizes top-tier EK-Vardar high-static pressure fans and market-proven Laing DDC liquid cooling pump. All-around PWM control provides minimal noise profile and performance on demand.
Predator utilizes industry standard G1/4 threaded ports and 15,9/9,5mm (5/8" / 3/8") Zero Maintenance rubber tubing (EK-ZMT). It is fully expandable and customizable with all custom-loop liquid cooling gear available in EK's portfolio.

The most anticipated feature since the first announcement of the Predator AIO has been the Quick Disconnect or QDC. This is a special connector that allows quick and tool-less expansion of the system without the need for draining of the unit. This allows users to add, for example, a pre-filled QDC-enabled GPU water block. Carefully selected, the Predator Quick Disconnect is a medical grade product with Zero Drop design! The expansion of the system can be very quick, easy and safe.

Pre-filled and QDC-enabled GPU water blocks will be available on November 5th 2015. This will be a on demand service where customers will be able to select a QDC option when purchasing the GPU water block. EK will fill the water block with coolant and make the unit ready to be used with Quick Disconnects. Graphics card with such water block will be immediately ready to be connected with the Predator 360 QDC. Quick Disconnect package (without pre-filled GPU water block) will also be available for purchase separately!

Technical highlights:
Hovercore is a new, revolutionary design of radiator de-coupling that effectively prevents transfer of pump induced vibrations from the unit to the computer chassis itself, thus resulting in vibration-free and silent operation.

Supremacy MX CPU water block, top performer in Enthusiast segment, is specifically designed for Intel CPUs and offers great hydraulic and thermal performance. Carefully machined copper base is made from purest copper available and is further polished to absolute mirror finish. This alone greatly improves the cooling performance of the Predator.

CoolStream PE 360mm radiator, has a full copper core superior to aluminum alternatives in terms of heat dissipation. In conjunction with EK-Vardar fans the result is increased performance across an entire fan operational range, thus delivering results both at low- and high airflow operation. Dimensions of the main radiator unit on Predator 360, with integrated pump and reservoir are: 415 x 133 x 68 mm. This allows mounting of the unit in most modern mid- and full-tower computer cases.

Vardar fans - three on Predator 360 - are high-static pressure fans developed in-house specifically for liquid cooling systems. With low noise profile and PWM technology built in, the system always controls the RPM and keeps the fans silent while maintaining excellent cooling performance.

DDC pump is a powerful 6W liquid cooling pump providing 2-3x higher flow rate compared to other AIOs on the market. It's also PWM controlled, allowing for automatic pump speed regulation depending on your CPU temperature. Full performance on demand or whisper quiet operation in idle mode!

Integrated Fan splitter hub reduces cable clutter and keeps the unit aesthetically clean. Predator pump and fans plug into the unit itself with only one PWM cable going into CPU Fan socket, while a single SATA molex cable powers the complete unit.

PWM controlled= Plugs into CPU Fan and OPT fan on your motherboard.

Nothing new there, unless they actually created their own PWM controller. Good Hype tho.

PWM controllers give me a headache.

I have absolutely 0 need for this . . . but I sooo want it.
When I finally finish my associate training program at work and get a big fat raise a year or so from now, I might buy one of these, a pre-filled QDC GPU kit to go with it, and build a monster gaming PC.

It's really damn cool but doesn't really make sense. Whole custom liquid cooling kits from EK cost around the same.

But i did heard that those quick disconnects are pricey as fk.

The price though, about 300 euros here in Finland. Thanks but no thanks.
