SeaSonic TFX 350W Power Supply Pictured

SeaSonic showed off its first TFX form-factor power supplies at the 2016 Computex show, beginning with a 350W model. The compact internal PSU offers 80 Plus Gold switching efficiency, DC-to-DC switching circuitry, tight voltage regulation within a band of ±3%, and most common electrical protection mechanisms. The unit is cooled by an 80 mm temperature-activated fan.

JetsterFirst? I thought I have bought Seasonic TFX Units before. So I checked. SeaSonic SS-300TFX But that looks fancier
yeah seasonic has had tfx units for ages now(even 80+ gold, tgm modular which were reviewed 2012 on silenpcreview and tgw non-modular). I would be more interested for sfx unit than tfx(i.e. updated version of this). Maybe they meant to say really for consumer space, I think those earlier versions were really meant to oem builders.

AibohphobiaYou're right, it's definitely not Seasonic's first TFX.

The model pictured in the article has been out at least a year: www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=417

And from what I can tell it's just this painted black: www.silentpcreview.com/article1246-page1.html
I've had that specific model in the picture for a few months - you almost nailed it on the head. It also has black cables, and has a 6+2 pcie power cable. That last one is basically the only meaningful difference from the other seasonic TFX units.

I just verified in my Amazon account that I purchased this model in July of 2015, so, not new.
