XIGMATEK Unveils the Shogun G Series PSUs

XIGMATEK unveiled the Shogun G line of mid-range power supplies. Available in 550W, 650W, and 750W variants, the Shogun G features fixed cabling. Its star attractions are 80 Plus Gold switching efficiency, and a 120 mm double ball-bearing fan, with noise output as low as 16 dBA. Under the hood, is a single +12V rail design with active PFC, an all-Japanese capacitor loadout, and most common electrical protections, such as over/under voltage, overload, and short-circuit protection. All three variants appear to feature the same set of connectors, including four 6+2 pin PCIe, two 4+4 pin EPS, six SATA, three Moles, and one Berg. The company didn't reveal pricing.

never really liked fixed cabling, almost always has that one cable thats just a hair too short of a comfy fit.

Personally I prefer semi-modular, since the 24-pin and 4/8pin 12V cables would be used anyway..

As would at least 1 SATA and one 6+2-pin PCIe.
