KananThat's bullshit, I already saw the 980ti performing way better than this in RE 7. Maybe it's pre optimised driver or so, just look at some other reviews then.
i have seen so many charts that says that solid video cards like GTX 780ti, GTX 980 and 980ti are smoked by some crappy Radeon Rx 470's.... some R9 280 and also R9 380's.... so i decided to keep the tests with my card, also avoid updating Nvidia experience shit to avoid performance cut down on some GTX 900 Series cards...

I'm just glad I have no plans to play the game, that I'm generally not a first day gamer of new games. I have circumvented bad driver or general game bugs this way countless times.

rtwjunkieI think it's hilarious that they take this chart all the way down to the 960, bypassing some relevant cards along the way.

Hehe, I got me a permanent ban (with no warning or anything) on Guru3D for questioning some of their benchmark/review practices.

Because of my ban? /joke

Stick to one forum? No way, I need to compare opinions. But with several quality sites out there, chopping off Guru3D went mostly unnoticed.

btw that test with v.high fps was a fluke, guru3d used interlacing at first.. Guess we will have to wait and see until the game matures more.

Not really a fluke but a error on HH part.

He kind of made a mess of things because of how many test he did and the error

1st. Things werent adding up. Unclear if Interlaced was on or off on some but he was using old drivers for Nvidia

2nd. He played with interlaced on cards

3rd. He turned Shadow Cache off

He points at Shadow Cache being the culprit which mights as well be but he also admits hes using interlacing and by the time he notices only results in 3rd version should be valid which line up with the german sites which also run Shadow Cache Off. He doesn't want to re-run the test with Shadow Cache On.

To add insult to injury he makes his conclusion and recommendation knowing he screwed up with 1st and 2nd test and uses them as a comparison through out his entire review.

and it also breaks hardware physx in few games, at maxwell hw connected to that new compute optimization feature.

It renders cpu physx, with that optimization on it starts to use gpu again, but at 6-7fps lower fps..

Looks like I'll be sticking with my tried and true 368.69 drivers, haven't seen a better one since for my 970.
