"most powerful card every created".....

hahahaha, probably the most EXPENSIVE one too :) :D

Whats with the 11GB of vram, seems like an odd amount to me, or possibly just a last minute cost saving move on their part, to up their margin % a tad and show the bean counters that they are looking out for the shareholders...

just plain lame IMHO.....

These press releases are so chock full of PR dribble. It's hilarious to read.

Also, I believe the titan XP is more powerful then this, so the title of "most powerful geforce" is suspect.

Eh, it's just a rename of "reference". At least the cost is the same now and there's no overcharge for it.

Are these FE cards different as far as clockspeeds and such between AICs? I see a news article on every one (....), but, they are reference.. the only thing different is the box, right?

Just as before with the 1080, if it's a Founder's Edition, it adheres to NVIDIA's spec; just has stickers and branding from the different OEMs.

But "Reference" still sounds better I think.

11GB is not a weird amount, memory bus has been cut to 11/12, so memory amount as well. Remember 970 4GB fiasco? They rather sell it with 1GB less memory than do some shenanigans and get flak again for lying/poor marketing.

Yeah I read about it. Like with Ryzen and Vega there's always some leaks and stuff and Engineering samples benches but I got nothing. I guess I will have to wait.

Well saw the results on TPU about the 1080Ti and I must say they look awesome. This card in every benchmark was faster than Titan and in 2 some titles in 4k I noticed a gap between them of over 10 FPS's. NV has done a good job comparing to it's previous releases 1080 and Titan cutting the price 40% from titan's value. Although it is still a bit high if you ask me though. Wonder how will Vega do in that case and why NV was so eager to release the card now.

Neh. Sounds more generic actually...
