EVGA Announces the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti was designed to be the most powerful desktop GPU ever created, and indeed it was. EVGA built upon its legacy of innovative cooling solutions and powerful overclocking with its GTX 1080 Ti SC2 and FTW3 graphics cards. Despite the overclocking headroom provided by the frigid cooling of EVGA's patented iCX Technology, the potential of the GTX 1080 Ti still leaves room for one more card at the top...and man is it good to be the K|NG.
Featuring iCX Technology, a new efficient heatpipe layout, and edge-plated PCB for improved cooling, the GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N is ready to go from the moment you power on and also features:
  • Guaranteed 2025 MHz+ Overclock
  • Highly-Efficient Digital VRM
  • Dual-slot profile
  • Single-slot capable with Hydro Copper Waterblock
Single Graphics Card World Records:
  • 3DMark Time Spy World Record - 14,219
  • 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme World Record - 19,361
  • 3DMark Fire Strike World Record - 31,770
  • UNIGINE Superposition - 8,642

$1000 for a 1080ti? This is getting ridiculous.

But each card is hand crafted by K|ngp|n himself... he even cuddles with them for a few minutes before they're packaged and sent off for sale...

To all the pricing comments - simply don't buy it then. The card wasn't made for anyone here moaning about it's price. There are plenty of far cheaper options out there so the world's okay after all. This is really meant to be bought by people willing to push it under LN2 to go for OC records. It's sold as a complete unit because it sort of has to to make it commercially viable to produce in limited numbers.

Compare that with an iphone or an S8, or the Pixel phone. All 'technologically' obsolete in a year and all about £700+. Pricing is only ridiculous when the only price is too high but for gfx cards like the 1080ti, you can get them for $200-300 less than this. This model is priced according to it's market.

^that!

from the few benchers i know, they love this and cards like this because the cards are made so with no modification, they can strap a pot on it and be a weekend warrior benching sub ambient. then after a little "clean up" put the sexy copper cooler back on and game during the week.

and keep in mind none of that will void the eVga warranty.

but no, this card is not for me, but damned sexy though . .

Thats what happens when AMD is out of the game, Nvidia can free Overprice stuff and people have 3 Options:
( ) Cry/Complain
( ) Not Buy it
( ) Buy and regret later

The only air-cooled model I would have. A copper cooler costing $ 300 over the specified price is high and for this money I have a costum lup liquid cooling irrespective of a little more circuitry to achieve a more stable high operating frequency. Price is too high.
