Their loot boxes must be running well.

Can anyone with some meaningful time spent in the game tell me how repetitive and long the grind is? As in, rank per hour or something, or how often you get nice drops.

Excited for the new photo features! Been taking lots of screenies :)

The game is good, I wasnt going to buy it at launch due to the MT debate, but seeing it on a certain site discounted, I caved. It is more of the same from the first, but theres plenty of refinements. As for loot drops, I cant tell you if what I have is good in the scheme of things, but I havent even vaguely been tempted to pay for anything and I havent yet hit any sort of a wall.

I did feel a bit sick about some of the things up for purchase. Such as the spoils of war buff, it gives 100% bonus exp for 2hrs REAL TIME. So if you get a call, or anything comes up and you pause or log out... still ticks down. Pretty scummy IMO.

(E: I have 45hrs "played" - several are AFK. And Im lvl41 I believe, so roughly a rank an hour. Ive been doing side stuff as I go, so Ive nearly everything unlocked (I have all skills, just some sub-'ruin' stuff left), used one spoil of war bonus which was rewarded from a random chest, good quality stuff is all around if u want it - doing online vendettas or sending death threats to orcs)

Thanks. That last bit is standard F2P MMO fare, and it shouldn't be.

That its not clearly labelled as such is the unforgivable part. I did see a (loading screen) tooltip at some point that mentions it. But nowhere on its use page is there any mention that its going to tick away in real time. If I was annoyed that something I just got randomly did this, I cant imagine how pissed Id be if I paid real money for it!

I wish I could knock it more, but it is a good game. Glad I didnt pay full price tho ;p
