Microsoft planning flash-based Zune

Although the Zune is still unavailable in Europe, Microsoft is already planning its next addition to the portable media range with a flash-based version of the Zune. Whilst the standard Zune is going head-to-head with the iPod Video, this new version is likely to be fighting against the iPod Nano, although it has a few extra features. This new Zune will be "a truly WiFi enabled device" which could be suggesting wireless downloads and maybe even improved music sharing. Prices aren't available yet but expect this for Q4 2007.

Wow that does look nice.:pimp: If they can make the screen a little wider i'd buy it. Hopefully it's just a bad picture.

Looks kinda like they glued half an iPod shuffle and half an iPod nano together.


Why does everything have to look like an iPod?

how do you see that as anything like an ipod? is it because it is rectangular, partly white, and has a screen? what the hell people. Pretty much no similarities beyond being a music player. :slap:

And thus begins the war of attrition against apple :cool:

Looks like a really tall iPod, I think I'll stick with non-MS/Mac flavored MP3 players.

it has the little circle thing, same shape and sceen, button placement, only thing that looks different are the 2 top buttons
