Microsoft Rolls Out Windows 10 April 2018 Update (build 1803)
Microsoft began rolling out Windows 10 April 2018 Update. This isn't an ordinary "patch Tuesday" update, but a major update akin to "Fall Creators Update," which updates the build of the operating system to 1803. With it, Microsoft is introducing four major features to Windows 10 - Timeline, Focus Assist, Dictation, and a new and improved Edge web-browser. Timeline is essentially a time-linked file manager that organizes your files (and versions of them), e-mails, web-browser favorites, and search results, by time, so you can go back up to 30 days in time to find your stuff.
Focus Assist is a feature that lets you keep your focus on work (or productive tasks), and prevents you from being sucked into endless scrolling through social-media or other trivial activity, when you're supposed to be working. You set it to turn on in specific times of the day and days of the week, or even arbitrarily, and it keeps giving you visual or auditory reminders that pull you away from your trivial activity. The third major feature is Dictation, which is natural voice input as somewhat grammatically correct text. Microsoft made improvements to Edge that include the ability to mute tabs, maximize Reading Mode or PDFs into full-screen, secure payment options storage, and in-built Grammar Tools besides spell-checkers, so you no longer need to pay for services such as Grammarly. The disc image is available from Microsoft directly at this address.
When using a Windows machine it will prompt you to install the Microsoft Disc Image Download Tool. If you rather have a direct download of the Windows 10 ISO you have to change your browser's user agent, so that the site thinks you are on an unsupported OS.
Chrome: Go to the page above, press F12, in the devtools window, top right, click the three dots, select "More tools", "Network conditions", User agent: Blackberry.
Firefox: Install a user agent switcher addon, then switch to the user agent to a non-Windows platform.
Edge: Go to the page above, press F12, in the devtools window, select "Emulation", "Device", "iPad".

Downloaded this one to replace the old .iso, but it's only for the clients, I can't stand all the bloat it has, an SSD is now mandatory for a normal experience thanks to that. Most computers I receive are Atom Celerons (Celeron Silver?) with 500GB 5400RPM drives and 4GB of RAM. The performance in them is as good as you can expect.
Get the 2nd to latest driver and latest driver, get display driver uninstaller, get the latest chipset driver if available.
Disconnect your ethernet cable or wifi connection.
Run DDU twice, follow directions restart.
Install latest chipset driver if available, Restart.
Install latest GPU driver, restart
Reconfigure your settings.
P.S I've tested this on both my systems in the signature.
PITA!
HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Or well, not activation but after updating it asks me every lauch for my college or enterprise outlook account, which I do not have, just personal account. I had to repair Office.
However the drivers seems to be the issue here, they don't seem compatible anymore with the update...
Everything is great, except one bug.
In a dual monitor setup, with Chrome open on the left monitor and watching a video file with the Windows 10 Movies and TV media player on the right (full screen mode).
While browsing, the Movie and TV screen will minimize randomly.
And wheel scrolling in the browser window will intermittently stop working (F5 fixes that).
Only happens when using Chrome and Movies and TV. Other media apps do not do this with Chrome.
Works fine when I don't use full screen mode with Movies and TV player.
(yeah yeah, just use another media player)
I must be the only one happy so far with the latest version.
