Bethesda Announces "Wolfenstein: Youngblood" for 2019

Bethesda Software announced the next entry to its 2010s reboot of the iconic "Wolfenstein" franchise, titled "Youngblood." The game is slated for 2019. Apparently, BJ Blazkowicz and Anya have twin daughters, who BJ raises to be badasses like himself, to take the fight to the Nazis in Europe, 19 years after the events of "The New Colossus." The reveal trailer depicts two female protagonists with a heavy Southern US accent, beginning their quest in 1980s Paris. It's the age of the microcassette and early Techno. The same team that put together the past three "Wolfenstein" titles is working on this one, with Bethesda/Zenimax as the publishers, Machine Games the development studio, and IDTech 6 being the underlying technology.
The reveal trailer follows.

I regret the shit of my purchase of Wolfenstein II, boring storyline and super short campaign . Some of the worst FPS i played in a while. So nope, this franchise can die now.

cucker tarlsonlol I snapped a screenshot, should be somewhere in the "what are you playing thread". I agree with xkm1948, wolf 2 was disappointing.
They should have done what Ubi is doing for FC5. Added DLC packs for an extra $15-20. Invested in fully extending a campaign. Graphics are great, among the top I've played.

TBH graphics in wolf 2 isn't that great. Unless you mean FC5, then yeah, Dunia engine looked very nice in FC4 and I suspect it looks even better in FC5.

I am not gonna support mediocrity in game development. So this along with a whole bunch of EA games can burn in hell. My money will go to some indie game dev from now on. Sick and tired of entertainment industry trying to act as shiny moral compass and teach the players what they need to play while they themselves are just whoring out for whatever way they can leech out more money by micro transactions

Actually it got better reviews than TNO. So your whining is a bit funny.

Yeah, I’m scratching my head as well. I will almost always give my money to indie developer over the lesser AAA games, but all the new Wolfenstein’s have been standout good games, including Wolfenstein II.

But it is cool! We are all able to like different games because their are simply so many of them. Something for everyone. :)

I too, tho, am not too keen on how much of a Wolfenstein game it would be without BJ.

For those questioning the children being possible, I’m pretty sure she was pregnant before BJ’s synthetic body, IIRC.

So what, this game will happen sometimes in the '70s with kids running with guns doing some high-school shootouts??
Sorry, this is bad...

The silicon chip inside her head
Gets switched to overload
And nobody's gonna go to school today
She's going to make them stay at home
And daddy doesn't understand it
He always said she was as good as gold
And he can see no reason
'Cause there are no reasons
What reason do you need to be sure
Oh, oh, oh tell me why
I don't like Mondays
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
I want to shoot
The whole day down

Cool. I'll pick it up. I doubt I'll be able to get into it as much though.
