Razer Launches Ifrit Headset With #noheadsethair Focus

For gamers everywhere who want to have their hair as sporty and magnificent as they would were they not gamers, Razer has announced a product to compete with their vision of the world as a bad, terrible place. The new Ifrit headset (I dare you to search for Ifrit on Google), launched alongside a #noheadsethair campaign, aims to keep gamers around the world as stylish as they can be, with a special design that won't leave significant others wanting when it comes to hairstyling.

The new headset features an in-ear design that will of course result in lower sound quality and intensity compared to other, bulkier solutions, but at least there won't be any #hairgate drama - not for Ifrit users! It includes Razers' USB Audio Enhancer, which aims to improve sound quality of the earbuds by "taking audio quality up a notch while reducing static and background noise", and allowing for two-headed streaming. There's support for another headset - perhaps a non-Ifrit one would be best, so users can look great by the side of a #headsethair-carrying poor soul. Ifrit is now available from Razer for $100 - but think of all the time these dollars will save you when you don't need to comb your hair!

I searched for Ifrit on Google. It's just Ifrit from Final Fantasy. What do I win?

I actually like headphones that go behind instead of over the head. In ears are good for outdoors use (discrete, fits in a pocket), but at home there's no care. I guess some streamers or youtubers would like them if they have zaaannnyyyy hairstyles, but they probably use microphones anyway.

It's also an elemental human race in Pathfinder, and an MRAP in ARMA 3. None of these things have much in common...

I'm not saying that you are stupid for buying a Razer product...but Razer seems to think so, judging by their marketing.

My nephew just turned eight and he said "that's stupid", when I showed him the ad!

From a glance I thought this will be like those Aftershokz bone-conduction headphones, but I'm wrong. It's just a normal IEM with mic.

Why should gamers be concerned about hairstyle whilst gaming?
Isn't the game more important?
What have they been smoking over at Razer????
This is the silliest lost the plot product anyone could ever think up! In ear audio products suck, pure & simple imo.
Traditional headphones FTW!

Wouldn't this be a more effective ad if the person in it didn't already have fugly hair?

why.... doesn't even relate to their snake theme at all. IEM + mic design is just... meh. Checked the price via local tech news site... this thing retails around MYR540...

But that's the entire humorous sub-line of the piece.

"Don't mess up your hair"

Spokesperson well-known in Japan with well-known bad hair. :)

Tech, Games, and TPU!
Pretty sure you can 3d print something that holds a mic and earbuds of your choice for cheaper.
