MSI Upcoming RTX 2070 Series Leaks, Twin Frozr is Back

After the launch of the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti, hardware makers are getting close to the launch of their RTX 2070 graphics cards. MSI will be indeed one of them, and some leaked information in VideoCardz allows us to discover three variants of the RTX 2070 GAMING series. We will have the top of the line GAMING Z, and then the GAMING X and just GAMING 8G models. All of them will feature MSI's popular Twin Frozr 7 cooling solution, but instead of getting a black and red theme these new cards will have a black and silver finish.
The information is in fact available from MSI website, and there we can find also information about all the models available with this GPU. The lowest price one will be GeForce RTX 2070 AERO 8G and could be a good option to those who are looking to water cool their cards in the future. MSI GeForce RTX 2070 ARMOR 8G OC will have two TORX FAN 2.0 (there's also a non-OC version) , while MSI GeForce RTX 2070 DUKE will go a little further with three of those TORX Fans 2.0.

Their Twin Frozr is great, but I just can't stomach the dragon on the back plate. It's so rice.

Looks pretty dang ugly to me. TF III was the best looking revision but they've just gone downhill from there ever since.

OMG......I had a 6870 Twin Frozer Crossfire way back. I’m kinda fond of them, I can’t say that the air circulation is bad at all it was actually pretty cool runnings for me back in the day. Mostly just a name. I remember the big thing was the heat pipes and how they per positioned.

The RTX 2070 it's probably the most useless card that nGreedia released in the history. I absolutelly see no reason to purchase such an expensive card over the previous generation tbh....

I think he said that because the 2080 and 2080Ti gave many the impression is was all 3 fan solutions. So “back” means, “you thought it was gone, but it was so only delayed for the lesser models.

On another note, the black and silver is a great look. My spouse has the 1070 Quicksilver and it really is a sweet-looking card. I think they were testing the waters on that to see the reception.

I never did understand the aesthetic thing.... I can't fit my fat head between the PSU and GFX card to see it. Always wanted a water cooled backplate ... maybe now with the RGB craze we'll see one with a riser displaying vegas like RGB light show.
