G80 customers angry at lack of WHQL drivers threaten NVIDIA with class action lawsuit

Many people are very unhappy with the lack of good/WHQL certified drivers for their very expensive G80 video cards. A thread on NVIDIA forums has been swarming with lots of flames and FUD toward the G80, and has been closed by one of their moderators. And so, instead of protesting the only (or so they are accusing) way NVIDIA really lets them, G80 users are trying to get enough research/evidence together to start a class action lawsuit against NVIDIA. Anyone who wants to help support this lawsuit, please visit NVidiaClassAction.org. NVIDIA Class Action wants evidence such as screen shots and box covers claiming Vista compatibility in some way.

The site motto is rather catchy.
The surprise we've all been waiting for - a $650 coaster.

newtekie1Your ramblings make absolutely no sense at all. You would be on my ignore list already but some how you are a mod. So I can't ignore you. How someone that does nothing but troll managed to become a mod is beyond me. I have lost all respect for all the mods on this site, and it is all because of you. Any site that you are a mod for obviously has no good mods at all. You make all the other mods on this site look bad.
Most nvidia users say Nvidias drivers are flawless....I've never had success with Nvidias windows stuff, and I've never had success with ati's linux stuff. an ignore button isnt neccary, it is infact possible to skip over a post, should you not like it.

I'm not backing either company, but its not often everyone yells and screams at nvidia.

Normally it takes a profit effecting yelling to make their thick heads make a driver change.

I.E. FX bugs that ran ramped forever. The Ti4200 driver that nuked things, their 3d mark cheating. They were aqs quick as a flash to fix the 3d mark cheating, but the ti4200 problems *remain*.

I'l refrain from using any humor that has to do with past behavior of companys from now on because it apparently doesn't take well to people ^^

I still fail to see where your original post relates to mine that you quoted.

Before it turns into a flaming/bashing thread, I'll rather close it.
