Battlestar Galactica game for PC and Xbox360 in Autumn

For a while, there have been rumors of a Battlestar Galactica game. Sierra Online confirmed this yesterday morning. The Battlestar Galactica video game will be a first-person shooter, and will be for the PC and Xbox360 in Autumn 2007.
NBC Universal is working closely with us so that players will be able immerse themselves in the Battlestar Galactica universe and re-live their favorite missions from the TV series.
Auran Games, an Austrian developer, is developing the Battlestar Galactica game, and will distribute it exclusively online through Sierra Online. Auran Games is working hard to try and get the voice talent from the actual show into the game.

The new BSG is just about the best thing I've seen on TV in years.

Agreed. Although I'm not so sure it will make a decent FPS.

I'll reserve judgment for it's release. I like BSG, but i'm leery of tv and movie based games.

oh I couldn't agree more about the leeriness

although I'd love to play a Friends FPS! you know, blasting your way through the Central Perk, sniping the friends one at a time...

Star trek did good as a game. Im no BGS fan so I really cant offer an opinion on this.

The Original BSG went from a Sci-fi action/drama to just drama and lost popularity towards the end. This time the new BSG seems to keep pace with the sci-fi action but with some added suspense of "who's the cylon".

But as far as the game is concerned, they already did a BSG and it was simply to hard to play. Cylons kicked but, end of story.
