PC Teaser Trailer Released for Detroit: Become Human
Well, Quantic Dream has been on a roll launching its formerly PlayStation-exclusive titles in a remastered form on the PC platform. I hope you've been having fun with them - if you crave strong, cinematic storytelling and complicated, branching choices and dynamic narratives, David Cages' brainchilds will be right up your proverbial alley. And it seems the PC versions of the games are well optimized and have more than adequate compatibility and stability - and I might be making the ports a disservice by using those particular adjectives. Just keeping your expectations in check.
I'd say this is one of the more aspiring stories told by Quantic Dream - easily. The scenarios that play out in the course of the game are all too real (at least in my own personal view of society and our systems) not to take a look at. It's a human dream, this one game. Take a look at the trailer after the break. Detroit: Become Human will be available for the PC platform via the Epic Games Store, and is expected to drop before the end of this year.

That was one of the greatest TV shows out there until those retarded idi0ts from SyFy Channel and Fox pulled the plug....
I'd like to punch the persons in the face that cancelled the show after 1 season. Sci-fi always gets screwed over.
Anyways, all so like Heavy Rain although Fahrenheit was alright so i guess will have to see how this one turns out.
If you'r a fan Telltale games, or narritve drievn games in general then this game should be on the top of your wishlist, highly recommended.
The game averages at 87 metacritic user score which is a very respectable and impressive score
In example an era isn't someone's reign of power (incorrect use in some Roman documentaries in example).
Anything titled Detroit really should be about two things: the automotive industry or fighting against the fascist dictators who have destroyed that city and all of it's industry.
On a side note it would certainly appeal to the fascists to create empathy evoking robots that appear to be sentient in order to subvert the masses. I would really like to see some story telling that comes from a mentality far greater than that of a 12 year old.
And by the by, I recommend people take a look at Bryan Dechart's (Connor) YouTube channel. I believe he just renamed it to Dechart Games. But he and his wife Amelia have done a couple play throughs of the game, and it's great to hear them both talk about their experience on set.
You have to realize the market has already shifted from the publishers' point of view. Steam/Valve wasn't the ideal outlet to begin with a few years ago, and it still is not, but now there is a competitor offering a better distribution channel too - better as in cheaper, but also better exposure (an entry on EGS is sure to be looked at - negative publicity is still publicity a Steam release wouldn't get, and lower amount of sold items = higher exposure too).
But if you want to ride the Chinese influence train, by all means. In the real world, everyone can easily see there is a shift happening because digital distribution for gaming is/was a high profit margin prospect. EGS corrects that, and it is likely the other marketplaces will also gain share at the expense of Steam (they already have). And for the larger publishers, there have been storefronts for years already. This shift isn't new, but it now potentially applies to all games.
inside their machines .. companys like these have good commercial reasons
to compartmentalize the gaming space, so you can be part of in their "league".
key phrases Unreal , Epic , nVidia ..does this sounds familiar?
As @Vayra86 said it was EGS willing to take the risk that enabled them to come to PC. Period. So you might be waiting awhile...like forever.
