NVIDIA Partners With Activision in Launching Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Bundles

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's re-release will see the game supporting real-time raytracing, and given NVIDIA's current stand in the market as the only provider of hardware-accelerated raytracing capable GPUs, this partnership makes total sense. NVIDIA has announced that they will be bundling Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with select RTX series GPUs, which gives gamers on the fence towards buying an RTX graphics card one more reason to take the plunge.

The bundle is available for eligible GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 2080, 2070 Super, 2070, 2060 Super and 2060 products, whether in discrete card or laptop/desktop pre-built form. The game will be taking advantage of ray tracing and adaptive shading, and will bring gamers back to Soap and Price's story.

After the Youngblood + Control bundle (which ended Sept. 16), now comes the COD bundle.

Soon. Some guy data mind the beta and what looks to be lootboxes are already programmed in. All it needs is for Activision to flick the switch and it goes live like a christmas tree.

I don't care about the mp just the campaign so no loot boxes to worry about, just hope it's not optimised for nvidia a'la twimtbp

Looks like Evga raised the prices of everything 10-20 bucks along with including this game. Lame.

They wait it out a month or two, after all the reviews are done then do a bait and switch. Box won't show it has micro transactions so that parents will be surprised once their credit card bill arrive.

It's Activision/Blizzard, I wouldn't be surprised if they'd included lootboxes in SP campaign.

As for A/B being sneaky about microtransactions - things like that should be labeled as false advertising. There's no mention of microtransactions on product page, or on the box. Yet, a week or two after the release they'll just add them like they did in the past and get away with it.

Same. Control is somewhat acceptable but didn't want Youngblood. I bought my card last month though and shitty third-world country doesn't have any consumer rights other than plain old warranty to begin with.

If the lootbox/mtx were for only skins and shit I would've caved and bought it full price even though I visually cringe paying $60 1st world price where I'm just a poor asian rice farmer. But reading about recent CODs, looks like they also offer OP guns via lootbox/mtx. Hard pass from me. But if anyone wannna do random act of kindness lemme know.

Until then I'll be trying to act all tacticool in Insurgency Sandstorm asia and europe server.

So he discovered that water is wet? Of course there will be loot boxes, no one even doubted for a second. No AAA mp games are delivered without loot boxes

I feel the same way...YoungBlood is just trash and useless for me and Control is ok I guess but I would definitely trade both for CoD
