AORUS Showcases Next Generation Gaming Hardware at PAX East

AORUS, the premium gaming brand of Gigabyte Technology, will showcase a new arsenal of next-gen gaming systems, tactical monitors, new games to test drive, and exclusive merchandise at PAX East 2020. PAX East 2020 welcomes more than 100,000 enthusiasts from all over the world to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center for the annual celebration of games. Since PAX's inception in 2004, millions of attendees have enjoyed the expo floor halls filled with booths from major game publishers and independent developers, panels from video game industry insiders, game culture-inspired concerts, LAN parties, tabletop gaming, competitions and much more.

AORUS products on display at PAX East include a series of tactical gaming monitors that give gaming enthusiasts twice the details and display quality than Full HD, and allows them to enjoy games and movies in their original size. The new AORUS FI27Q-P features a 27" QHD panel (2560x1440 resolution) in a 16:9 aspect ratio with a 165Hz refresh rate. New monitor supports AMD Radeon FreeSync technology which puts an end to choppy gameplay and broken frames to create a fluid and artifact-free performance at any framerate. The AORUS FI27Q-P is one of the most responsive gaming monitors in the market.
AORUS will also show its KD25F tactical monitor specifically-designed for first person shooter (FPS) gaming and its curved CV27F and CV27QP monitors with Native 1500R and 165HZ refresh rate.

Mobile gamers can check out the AORUS 17, the world's first gaming notebook with Omron's mechanical keyboard switches, which gives gamers a keypress sensation that is preferred for key-intense FPS and online multiplayer games. The AORUS 17 supports 9th Gen Intel Core i9/i7 Processor H-Series and is the first Microsoft Azure AI notebook.

Several modders will also display their unique custom water-cooled builds based on the Z390 AORUS Xtreme Waterforce motherboard and AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER.

Visitors will be able to use AORUS hardware in the Gaming Corner of the company's booth to test drive the virtual reality game Creed: Rise to Glory Boxing; Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO), a multiplayer first-person shooter video game.

"Some of the hottest AORUS products that will be on display to satiate the appetite of the most ardent gaming enthusiasts and eSports participants," said Van Luong, AORUS marketing manager. "The world's first tactical gaming monitors to give gamers a distinct advantage over opponents as well other AORUS peripherals and components for a full-blown AORUS gaming experience."

At the AORUS Shop gaming enthusiasts can purchase apparel, gaming peripherals and take advantage of PAX East attendee-only deals.

AORUS will be located in Booth #16027.

I do like the Aorus kit (got the 2080 TI) but "Team up. Fight on" plastered on it all is just awful.

I'm sure their marketing team thought it was a really cool slogan at time...
This happens way too often in Taiwan, the boss comes up with something and everyone on the meeting where is presented agrees with the boss that it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, regardless of their own thoughts on the matter. The boss is always right...

How can anything with an old tech Intel cpu be called next gen.

Just because you sugar coat a 14nm turd with a shiny design does not mean you can call it next gen.

Imagine though if Aorus brought us 'last gen' gaming hardware instead

More gaming laptop brands need to follow MSI's footsteps and expand the size of the trackpad. So many gaming laptops continue to use yesteryear's trackpad size which is very nearly square-shaped in addition to big plasticky physical buttons. Get with the times and pay attention to MSI and Apple trackpads!
