Kojima Productions' Death Stranding Arrives on PC June 2nd

Death Stranding, one of 2019's gaming masterpieces (or the world's most beautiful walking simulator, depending on who you ask) has been confirmed to drop on the PC platform as early as June 2nd. The new brainchild from famed Hideo Kojima has been well received by critics (at 82 Metacritic score) but not so much by users (at 6.6 average user score on the same platform). A very interesting part to this story, in my view, is that this is the shortest time-span that has elapsed between a games' publication as a PlayStation Exclusive (November 8th 2019) and its subsequent PC release.

Alongside the release date confirmation, Kojima Productions has released a new game trailer for the PC platform (you can catch it after the break). Support for ultrawide resolutions has already been confirmed, and there will also be a photomode and additional content based on Valve's Half Life franchise. The game is now available for pre-purchase through Steam.

$60 seems wayyyyy too much for this "game".... or whatever you wish to call it.

Maybe when it's 15% of the starting price.

The problem with the delay to another platform is that the game is old by the time it arrives on the new platform and the excitement has long wore off.

Looking forward to this game as I think it uses Vulkan & DX12.
