NZXT Announces Limited Edition CRFT 07 H510i Mass Effect Case

NZXT, a leading designer of computer hardware, software, and services for the PC gaming community, today announces the seventh entrant in NZXT's CRFT line--a series of licensed products that celebrate incredible games and the communities who love them--based on BioWare's landmark series Mass Effect. Designed around NZXT's award-winning H510i, NZXT CRFT 07 takes inspiration from the armor of the N7 to create a limited-run of 500 cases, designed for the Mass Effect community. The carbon fiber colorway and the red and white stripe mimics the iconic N7 armor from the game, so users can keep their build battle-ready. A limited-edition durable charm can be flipped to display either the Paragon or Renegade icon, allowing users to show their true colors.

"Mass Effect has made a profound impact on the imagination of the gaming community," says Johnny Hou, NZXT's founder and CEO. "To this day, we hear people recount the adventures of Commander Shepard and discuss their unique adventures. We are honored to partner with BioWare to bring this passionate fanbase a case that honors the legacy of this iconic franchise.".
Armed And Ready

This H510i case is themed around the iconic N7 armor and is ready to shield your components from charging Krogans. This battle-tested case includes a full tempered-glass side panel to showcase your build.

Don't Let Your Weapons Overheat

Keep your weapons from overheating with a front bracket designed for radiators up to 280 mm. For the adept builder, an integrated reservoir mount is included for custom-loop systems. Two Aer F 120 mm fans are present for optimal internal air-flow as well as removable filters for the PSU.

Renegade Or Paragon

Show the galaxy what kind of Spectre you've chosen to be. The durable charm on your front panel can be flipped to either the Paragon or Renegade logo, so whether you're compassionate and heroic, or indifferent and ruthless, you can show your true colors.

A Tech Master

We retrofitted this build with pre-installed cables and straps, simplifying the building process so you don't need a Quarian to show you the ropes. With the addition of our trademark cable bar, we've streamlined the build experience for a machine that's truly worthy of the Normandy.

I want this so much, but weren't the other special edition ones a lot cheaper? $200 USD. Ouch, was hoping for $150.

$200 dollars for a nice case is pretty good. My case was £200 and how often do you change cases? probably less than GPU/CPU

For some misguided belief, I been constantly waiting for a refresh of their cases with mesh front panel, but I also know that is not their style.

$200 is not bad for limited edition cases... but too little too late.
I doubt a remaster will create enough hype to sell this.

It "looks" good, but functionally, it's not a case I would ever use.

I'm on the regular H510 White and it's a great case, but I wouldn't say it has the best airflow capabilities. Price-wise it'll probably be a bit higher in Europe right?

Meh....

Yet anutha boring, same ole same same rectangular boxen, with about $.25 worth of decals or paint slapped on for yet anutha B.S. merch/game product tie-in. About as interestiing as the new meal deal at McD's with some rapper clown's face all over it....

I can put stripes (of any colors) on any case for a WHOLE lot less than $200, but if that's the amount you wanna pay me for them, then I will gladly take yo moolah, hahaha ...

Oh my, I find this sentence particularly amuzing, as if tempered glass would ever be considered "battle-tested"....not in this universe or any other one.... soooo friggin lame I just sh*t myself from laughin so hard :D

Thats a bit pricey for that size case, oh wait NVM, its got RGB! :shadedshu:

Aside from the RGB flaw, its not a bad looking case, I'd paint it another color, white maybe. Also, one things I hate about PR's is the limited number of images, oh well. I also notice its got that front vent airflow problem, intake from the sides. They do look wider than other front glass panel case ( no names ! ), but being a smaller case and with only 2 intake fans that might be good enough as long as its without a radiator mounted there.

I'm so excited to be getting a whole one USB A port, on the front of this case.

NZXT has really knocked it out of the park.

Wow the base is a whole load cheaper. does sound like a bit of a cash in then. How much is added to the base? just the wrap?

Not special enough to justify the price hike IMO. You can do this yourself for $10 of 3M Dinoc adhesive carbon vinyl and any N7 sticker from Ebay.

Way overpriced. This is a special edition of the $100 H510i ($70 H510 + RGB strips and built in fan controller with shitty NZXT CAM software). If I was going to buy a case with a closed-off front panel it'd be the O11 Dynamic that actually has decent airflow potential. Maybe this appeals to hardcore Mass Effect fans, but even then you could probably DIY a similar theme for a lot less than the extra $100 NZXT is charging over the non-special edition case.

NZXT is charging 140 bucks on top for tacky ass carbon wrap and some simple graphics. 190 buys you a Phanteks 719 lol.
