The Great Equalizer: KFC Unveils KFConsole Powered by Intel x ASUS, Cooler Master, Seagate (Featuring Chicken Chamber)
The dankest of memes has come out of the digital underworld to spread fear through all chickens out there in the world. KFC has announced the KFConsole, a development made in partnership with Intel, ASUS, Cooler Master, and Seagate, do deliver a console that "runs better than any other console" - which means bugs relating to chicken movement have been ironed out before release. The chassis is a KFC chicken bucket-shaped one, and is based on Intel's NUC 9 Extreme compute element paired with an unspecified ASUS graphics card - that supports ray tracing.
According to Cooler Master, the console supports 4K gaming, ray tracing, and supports up to 240 Hz displays. A 1 TB NVMe SSD is also inside, obviously. And KFC has found an ingenious, marvelous way to reuse all that wasted TDP that manifests in the form of heat with a purpose-built compartment - the Chicken Chamber), where users can download their chicken wings in the middle of a gaming session to heat them up via the power of the integrated hardware choices. A sure nail in the coffin for the current console wars - Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo must be collectively trying to fly away from this monster (and failing). And I can already hear the collective noise of scalpers rubbing their hands at feeding their pockets, and their mouths as well.

She mostly got it to make chicken wings since her husband loves chicken-wangs.
On a side note, did AMD give too high a price? When it comes to consoles, AMD takes the pie (or whatever KFC serve). Or maybe KFC were afraid that Ryzen gives Colonel Panic? Just look at Apple's Trash Bin (tm) and the Cheese Grater (tm).
I hate to generalize but a lot of unhealthy and overweight people I see drink "diet" drinks
I haven't liked KFC since the Colonel passed.. just not the same.
And your mileage may vary, but most air fryer fans I've met think that frying things (actually frying them... on a pan, or a deep frier) is slightly worse, health-wise, than driving on the highway while snorting cocaine. With a loose feral cat inside the car. On a flat tire. Blindfolded.
People's standards as to what constitutes edible frying may be a bit skewed, in accordance to their thoughts on the alternative . Use it as a foot stool while eating actual food, prepared in the manner it was supposed to (be it roasting, frying, sauteing, whatever). Air fryers are garbage.
PS: And by the way I'm not one of these "real men eat unhealthy" machismo bs guys. I'm all for healthier eating. These things produce... edibles (barely) that are NOT fried and do not taste like they were fried. They're small convection ovens, not fryers. I can call my scooter a two wheeled airplane, too, but that won't make it any more of an aircraft.
a good marketing tactic, since we are heading towards page 3... and youtube famous stars are talking about it.
:(
Needless-to-say, I got another moment of silence. I told her not to worry about it and that I'd find out by calling corporate.
I don't know y'all...y'all think I was being a little unreasonable?
:)
