Fifa may look nice but it certainly is inferior gameplay wise to the pro evolution series

Pretty lame that they still compete on 1.6, in which you can shoot through all walls/barriers, but they go and compete on the newest (and one of the crappiest) need for speed games.

have you ever played 1.6? It's still one of the best First person shooters out there and there are more 1.6 players than source (100,000 players daily for 1.6). WCG and CPL still have 1.6 as their main game for competative play so it will never die. Walling is necessary and it is really what would happen if you shot through a 2 inch wall or crate with most guns.. ie. deagle colt ak awp... its not like all the guns wall, only the guns that actually do wall in real life do, so quit bashing the game, it takes more skill than any game today

EDIT: You cant shoot through all walls and barriers, what game are you playing?

I highly doubt it takes "more skill than any game today".

The reason why its popular is because it has an easy learning curve and you don't need to know much to play.

Compared to something like the Civilization series, or the Battlefield series, CS is seriously lacking in terms of strategic and skillful gameplay.

It is stepping up to become a Q2 Rocket Arena type game (All veteran gamers will know what I'm talking about). Started off the genre, then the world hopped in and it got ruined. Now you can scarcely find any Q2 games anywhere (At its peak, it was probably as much as CS).

Video proof... plenty more widely available.

The most shocking video I've seen was of a competition on dust2, where at site b, a CT flashed the tunnel, pulled out an m4, strafed left and killed 5 or 6 people straight through dozens of feet of concrete.

yeah bud those are spots called ''spam spots'', not every part in the wall is spammable and not every part of the map can be spammed to hit another certain spot. unless you show me every pixel of the wall can be spammed than theirs no point...

Unlike source or BF2, 1.6 actually requires skill.

With CS:S, I could kill people easily with a glock.
